  1. Engineering Manager · Spotify

    July 2022 – Present
    • Manage a team of ten frontend and backend engineers responsible for six backend services and a web application to create and manage promotions/ads on Home.
    • Defined a 12-month technical strategy for Spotify's Promotions/Ads platform, improving developer velocity and engagement with design, product, and data stakeholders.
    • Previously managed six frontend engineers building Prompted Playlists and Mixing tools on the Desktop app, serving millions of MAU.
    • Mentored an engineer from Engineer I to Senior through two promotions in three years, and coached three engineers successfully through performance improvement.
    • Led end-to-end hiring for two summer interns, evaluating over 1,000 applicants.

    July 2020 – October 2022
    • Delivered features for Spotify's desktop app and web player with React, TypeScript, and GraphQL, bringing key experiences to parity across platforms.
    • Partnered with designers on accessible animations and micro-interactions.
    • Helped reshape Spotify's frontend interview process for a more equitable, relevant candidate experience.
    • Championed adoption of Spotify's design system across platforms.

    • Led the creation of LogMeIn's design system, establishing a unified UI foundation across products.
    • Built the design system documentation and style guide with Gatsby and React.

    • Developed the IBM Quantum Network website with Vue.js, showcasing IBM's quantum computing ecosystem.
